RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria (Age & Education)
This notification provides a one-time age relaxation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 36 Years
This includes a 3-year relaxation in the prescribed age limit as a one-time measure. Further relaxation for reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST) is applicable on top of this.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications as of the closing date of application:
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- OR 10th Pass PLUS ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades.
- OR 10th Pass PLUS National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Selection Process (CBT & PET)
The selection process for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 involves the following stages:
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) – A single online exam.
- Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Mandatory and qualifying in nature.
- Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)
- Stage 4: Medical Examination (ME)
The final merit will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the CBT, subject to qualifying the PET.
RRB Group D Exam Pattern (Single Stage CBT)
The single online CBT will consist of 100 questions to be attempted in 90 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify the CBT (based on merit) will be called for the PET, which is qualifying in nature.

- Create a new account (“Create an Account”) for the One-Time Registration (OTR) if you have not done so already.
- Log in using your registered credentials.
- Find and select the link for “CEN No. 08/2024 (Level 1 Posts)”.
- Fill in all required fields, including personal details, 10th/ITI qualification details, and communication address.
- Select your preferred RRC zone.
- Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and any other required documents.
- Pay the application fee online.
